 Here are some ways that fast fashion is impacting our society 



Gone are the days when people buy a shirt and wear it for a years.In a world of accelerating demands for apparel, consumer wants and can increasingly afford New cloths after wearing garments only a few times. Entire business models are build on the premise of FAST FASHION. 

1) millions people are making our clothes today, and 80% percent of apparel is made by young women between the ages of 18 24 

2)Garments worker, primarily women, in Bangladesh make about $96 per month.the governments wage board suggested that a garments workers needs 3.5 times that amount in order to live decent life with basic faculties 



3)Thirty percent of the substance used in clothing production have been found to pose a serious threat to human health.

4) A majority of garment workers are forced to work in extreme and  hazardous conditions.

Fast fashion impact on Indian society 



Shopping is becoming a hobby. We Indians shop  alot during festival seasons
Fast fashion brands used Indian festival to make more profit.

Not only festival season but Indian weddings are also play a major role to consume more cloths.

People in India buy expensive cloths for wedding which they worn only once 

But now we should understand how much fast fashion and over consumption is dangerous for our planet.

Global warming also effecting human health and over consumption effecting mental health.

Now is the time to understand our needs and practicing minimalism.

What's wrong with fast fashion???  Fast fashion is the mass production of cheap poor quality, disposable clothing.to give up an idea of the scale of the problem,the fast fashion industry churns out gargantuan 80 billion garments a year that's over 10 for every person on earth. And it's 400% more than it produced 20 years ago.  According to clothes waste charity TRAID the average garments is only worn 10 times before it is thrown away  This diabolical disposable cycle is being fuelled because 1) clothes are becoming cheaper  2)As their prices fall,so does their quality  3)while prices are dropping fashion trends are accelerating  This creates an incentive for people to buy more clothes to keep up with the trends. Because people know that the next trends is right around the corner and their clothes will soon fall out of fashion.they tack an incentive  to take care of them.  I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE SAY I LOVE BEACH.  SOME SAY THEY LIKE GREENERY. But do we really do???? We know that carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases trap heat in the earth's atmosphere. And we know that humans are burning fossil fuel, releasing huge amounts of carbon pollution and trapping more and more heat in the atmosphere. More reason of cousing global warming.  1).Deforestation. 2).Air pollution such as dust,dirt,chemicals and gases may be present in air  3).The burning of oil,coal and wood also produce smoke.  4)loss of trees increaseing carbon dioxide,a gas that contribution to global warming.          Global warming also effecting human.  Smoke can cause eye irritation and damage to our respiratory system.
