UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEM

 PROBLEM

Oxy leather jacket and breezy dresses are mainstyle in many of our wardrobe but do we really know just how much our favourite fashion pieces are effecting the Enviroment????

The clothes we wear have a terrible impact on people, animals, and the planet.most of them are full of toxic chemicals and consume crazy amounts of resources, lands, water, energy.

There are many facts behind the clothes you wear that fast fashion brands don't want you to see.

Here are worst fabric for the environment.

Polyester

1)Polyster isn't biodegradable and can take up to thousands of years to decompose in the ocean.

2)Polyster clothing produce huge amounts of waste, pollutes, the air, soil, and water with plastic microfibers

Nylon

1).Nylon is the synthetic fiber used in the fabrication of sportswear, swimwear, and athleisure garments.

nylon waste end up in landfills and ocean and pollutes the air, water sources, and entire food chain, threatening human health, wildlife and the planet.

Cotton

While cotton is a natural fibre that can biodegrade at the end of its life, it is also one of the most environmentally demanding crops.

Cotton is very water intensive to cultivate and process, taking between 10,000 and 20,000 gallons of water to make a single pair of jeans and up to 3,000 to make a T-shirt.

Cotton farming also uses high level of pesticides and toxic chemicals that seep into the earth and water supplies.
